Membership & Registration

For anyone wishing to become a Member of the Centre, you can do so before any program. Just be sure that you have registered in advance for the program.

Many of our seniors walk or take public transit, so there is no need to make 2 trips to the Centre to pay for Membership. To make it easy, and all in one trip, you can pay for your membership on the same day as you attend the program that you have registered for. Please come 15 minutes ahead of the program to pay for the membership and fill out the form if you have not printed it at home.  There is parking in the back and the back entrance is accessible. We have a front and back entrance for those who are new and coming to the Centre.

Seated Yoga

No Class: July 6th-20th

WEDNESDAYS, 2:00 – 2:45 pm

Strength and Stretch Exercise Class

Wednesdays: 12:30 am – 1:30 pm

Start of next session: July 6th – August 3rd  (excluding July 13th)

Next: August 10th- August 31st (4 week blocks)


Members must pre-register for these classes. You may register by email 1 week prior to the start of any set of classes. ([email protected])

This Active class focuses on Heart Health.  It consists of:

  • Cardio exercises
  • strengthening exercises to increase your heart rate
  • hand-held weights and soft balls
  • some dancing style exercises
  • mostly standing exercises
  • a good workout!
  • an active class, not for individuals who need to remain seated for an entire fitness class

Payment for this class ($20/4 weeks) will be taken before and after the class, 12noon – 2:00 pm

Physical distancing in effect. Please bring your own water.

Fit and Fun Fitness

Wednesdays, 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm  On Hold

Low Impact Aerobics; Improve Joint Mobility and your Balance while moving to fun music!  This class also incorporates resistance bands and balls for strengthening of muscles and helping to increase mobility in arms, lets and trunk.  A good workout for everyone and all levels!

The class is mostly done sitting in a chair but you can stand to do some of the strengthening and mobility exercises if you wish.

Fee: $20 for 4 classes/weekly.  ongoing. Monthly blocks of classes. Membership required.

Your name will be put on the list of players.  We are looking for more players.  You can always try out Table Tennis too!



Table Tennis

Tuesdays & Fridays: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

$2.00 per session. Membership required.

Join an avid group of players for fun, friendly competition and exercise!  Physical distancing when seated for a rest break.

**Please do not come to the Centre for 10 Days if you have travelled outside of Canada or have been in contact with anyone who may be ill or you are experiencing any symptoms of being ill. You will sign in before each session to indicate this.**
