Wednesday, 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Low Impact Aerobics; Improve Joint Mobility and your Balance while moving to fun music! This class also incorporates resistance bands and balls for strengthening of muscles and helping to increase mobility in arms, lets and trunk. A good workout for everyone!
The class is mostly done sitting in a chair but you can stand to do some of the strengthening and mobility exercises if you wish.
Fee: $36 for 6 classes. Membership required.

Tuesday & Thursday, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
This class focuses on Heart Health. It consists of:
- low impact cardio
- strengthening exercises to increase your heart rate
- hand-held weights and soft balls
- some dancing style exercises
- mostly standing exercises
- a good workout!
$38.00 for 6 classes or $70 for 12 classes. You have a choice to register for once a week or twice a week classes. Membership required. Pre-registration and payment is required before the first class.
Wednesdays, 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
The Centre operates a lunchroom called “The Garden Cafe” for members, volunteers and staff. The lunch is served from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. We serve homemade sandwiches, made fresh, for $2.00/2.50; or soup and a roll for $3.00; tea or coffee is 50 cents. You can also purchase a delicious muffin or cookies for 50 cents. Members can order a lunch until 12:15 pm. Please join for a bite to eat and a chance to meet new people! All monies go back to buying the supplies for the Cafe.
Here is an opportunity to meet your fellow members and neighbours from the surrounding community for a hot lunch and good conversation. After lunch, we have a health & wellness, educational presentation.
Lunch: Chicken Penne with shiitake & button mushrooms, veggies in white wine & olive oil sauce, with Coleslaw.
