Buon Giorno! Learn the Italian language with an instructor from Italy! The date and time of the class will be determined once we have a class list. Start date in late March.

St. Paddy’s Day Lunch

Friday, March 13th

12:30 pm – 2:00 pm

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with your fellow members.  Enjoy a hot meal of homemade meatloaf, cabbage rolls, salad and dessert.

Tickets are $10 and must be purchased before March 9th.  Membership required.

Fit and Fun Exercise Classes

Wednesdays, 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm

January 15th to February 19th

Low Impact Aerobics; Improve Joint Mobility and your Balance while moving to fun music!  This class also incorporates resistance bands and balls for strengthening of muscles and helping to increase mobility in arms, lets and trunk.  A good workout for everyone.

The class is mostly done sitting in a chair but you can stand to do some of the strengthening and mobility exercises if you wish.

Fee: $36 for 6 classes.  Membership required.

Creative Movement Exercise Class

Tuesdays, 10:30 am to 12 noon

March 3rd – April 7th  (change of date)

For: Balance & Falls Prevention

Participants follow gentle exercises done to music, each person doing the exercises according to their own abilities.  Exercises are done in chairs but you may stand if you wish. Exercises are directed to the needs of a person with Parkinson’s or with mobility concerns and include:

Postural awareness, Balance, Flexibility and Ease/range of motion.  Repetition is important for improvement and building confidence.  It is a gentle program that is beneficial to anyone wanting to feel better and move better.

Please register with payment in the front office. $38.00 for 6 weeks.

Strengthen & Stretch Fitness Class–New!

Thursdays, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm

January 16th to February 27th

This new class focuses on Heart Health.  It consists of:

  • low impact cardio
  • strengthening exercises to increase your heart rate
  • hand-held weights and soft balls
  • some dancing style exercises
  • mostly standing exercises
  • a good workout!

$38.00 to attend.  Pre-registration and payment required. Membership required.
